The Penn Program on Sexuality, Technology & Action Research (PSTAR) advances research and intervention methods aimed at decreasing sexuality-related health disparities and improving equity for sexual and gender minority populations through innovative science and community engaged approaches.
Propose innovative studies using social, behavioral, and biomedical perspectives to improve the health of sexual and gender minority populations.
Education & Training
We provide training opportunities for students to foster skills in LGBT research, intervention development and implementation, and translational science.
Foster the translation of efficacious research interventions into innovative community, clinical, and policy solutions for sexual and gender minorities.
We leverage advances in biomedical and digital technologies to improve the care and well-being of sexual and gender minorities.
We engage with academic, community, and policy stakeholders to identify priorities and implement evidence-based programs.
