Patrina Sexton Topper, PhD, MS, RN is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Patrina’s research has focused on queer reproduction and fertility experiences, LGBTQ health and health-related decision-making, and dyadic research for the promotion of health equity and social justice. Additionally, she is interested in multi-methods, mixed-methods, and qualitative research.
Patrina’s clinical interests include public and community health nursing, and women’s/gender-related health. Patrina earned a PhD in Nursing with a Graduate Certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020, BSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016, MS in Bioethics from Columbia University in 2013, and BA in Sociology from the University of Dayton in 2000.
