Seth Lamming


Seth is a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Seth is currently enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania’s ABSN-MSN program and hopes to specialize in adult/gerontology primary care.  His interests include harm reduction, trauma-informed care, HIV treatment and prevention, transgender health and wellness, incarceration and re-entry, and housing and homelessness.

Previously, Seth worked in various levels of Philadelphia’s shelter system, worked as a case manager at a recovery house for homeless men in recent recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, and worked as a care coordinator at an LGBT community health clinic. Seth received a BA in 2013 from Wesleyan University where he majored in English and American Studies. He wrote his undergraduate thesis on the history of the prison system in the United States and LGBT activist response to mass incarceration.
