Steven Meanley, MPH, PhD

Research Associate

Steven Meanley, MPH, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests center on exploring resiliencies among sexual minority and HIV-positive populations. He is particularly interested in identifying factors that buffer against the effects of syndemic production and stigma on health. Steven has spent the past seven years working on research projects that have examined the social and structural vulnerabilities to HIV/AIDS among various communities of sexual minority men in the United States.

Steven earned his PhD in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health in 2017, his MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan in 2013, and his BA in Psychology at Northwestern University in 2011.
